Living in color

My photo

I'm a fun loving redhead (sometimes natural, sometimes, not so much.)I believe we should love every second we are in this life, good or bad.

The boys...

The boys...
During the Jazz festival about six or seven years ago. A time before I started planting the place up. Oh yeah, those are Christmas lights strung up, and yes it was summer time. :P

The Flower

The Flower
It may be hard to see, but there is a tiny white flower in the center of the lower trunk. Some turd replaced it with a mountain dew bottle later in the week. I was heartbroken as I surveyed the ripped up petals cast upon the ground without cause or remorse.

Bear (formerly known as Achilles)

My cat nesting in my Wandering Jew

The Falls

The Falls
This one was rather tricky to take. I'm positively terrified of heights.

Rainbow Falls

Rainbow Falls
You can see where I had to stand in order to get the previous picture. This was taken from the bridge, so it was much less harrowing.

Bear being a sweet though dirty cat. My cats love dust baths and Bear was roaring and ready to roll in anything here.

Another hummer...

Another hummer...
I was very close to him, but he didn't seem to be very alarmed.

The invasion

The invasion
These darlings risked life and limb at the behest of my crowding of cats.

one of the tiny flowers in my flower gardens. A variation of the carnation.

One of our crazy humminbirds.

Wary little things.

Wary little things.
For good reason too. My five cats were cautiously stalking them.

Yum...

Yum...
Bunny in his original yellow collar before it mysteriously disappeared, checking out the hamster possiblities. Poor Hampton. The funniest thing about this is that Hampton went free a few months ago and not a single cat would go near him/her. (I never asked.) Hampton lives on somewhere in the Sheehan Estate.

this is fat sweet meowy Bunny. One of the babies. I miss him so much.

Bunny the Cat

Bunny the Cat
Bunny looking very cute after snuggling into a shoe box left sitting on the couch after the school shoe purchase. Silly Rabbit.

Shiloh

Shiloh
Shiloh was born 5 weeks before my wedding. She had two kittens and turned out to be such a Mommy cat that I kept them both. They are still very sweet with each other.

Carmel

Carmel
The darling missing puppy. We really miss our fully house trained, so freshly spayed puppy that we had to have her stitches out the day she went missing. What a cute enthusiastic pup.

Venus (formerly known as Seldrine, when we thought she was a he)

Venus (formerly known as Seldrine, when we thought she was a he)
Shiloh's sister. We gave her away but she would not eat, so we took her back. She went missing several months ago, two days before our puppy, Carmel. I miss her. She was our only lap cat.

The Wedding

The Wedding
John and I finally got married in May of 2008, after 6 years of living in sin. Everyone looks so serene in this picture but if you look at sweet little Ryan's toe you can see the patience is wearing thin for at least one of my darling boys.

Lily

Lily
My least friendly cat. She is not a very good pet, but sometimes she gets sweet and purrs up to my bed. Naturally she is only a darling when I'm trying to sleep. Her Mom was the same way, licking me and laying on my head. Venus was her Mom.
